I did enjoy my time off from making photos, a bit too much maybe. I gave some thought to giving it up completely and devoting my time to other interests. I think I've decided that I can probably continue to make photos and do other things as well if I just use my time better.

Quarai is the name of a local river that separates Uruguay from Brazil. Impressive documents here.
The ruins of the church at Quarai date back to the early 1600s. There was a pueblo there before, possibly for centuries..
