I've had fun learning to use the Mercury II. Part of the challenge is to figure out which subjects will fit well within the half-frame format and resolution. People and vehicles seem to work well.
I have added a page to my vintage cameras web site about the Mercury II.

You seem really to have enjoyed using this camera. And of course, I like any muscle car shot.
It's a smooth operating camera, but it does require some getting used to. The 35mm lens gives you good depth of field compared to a 50 mm on a full frame camera. However, since the image only covers half the real estate, the perspective or field of view from the Mercury seems more like a 75 or 80 mm lens on a full frame camera.
Interesting perspectives. Image quality is quite respectable for half frame.
