bosque walk

The river is running high and fast, flooding the bogs and encouraging the Spring growth. I wanted to see how the yerba mansa compared to what I am growning at home. It has no flowers yet, but it won't be long.

Great images , how large will they grow?

The first is a tree; the other is a ground-hugging wildflower, the Yerba Mansa that I have written about before. I planted some seeds from the same patch and now have five plants on the window sill. That's about one percent germination, which I suppose is about the rate in the wild.
