I started this blog thirteen years ago.  I'm going to have to pick up the pace to make it to a million.

It is quality, not quantity in my opinion. The new friends I have made in the online analog photography community are far more important to me than the numbers of people who have visited my blog.

That's certainly true. In fact, if you just look at the raw numbers there is a pretty good chance that the majority of the visitors are bots. It is nice to know that people are paying attention, but actual comments are much more indicative of real interest.

Has it really been only 13 years? When I found your blog it would have been near its beginning, but I assumed you'd been at it for a long time already. I'm not sure why now; there was no evidence either way. But I'm glad you're here; through your posts here and your comments on my blog, you've taught me a lot.

I originally maintained a web site for a long time before the blog. The blogger platform made it a lot easier to manage the same material so I moved the web site info to Blogger and just kept going from there.
