I haven't felt like paying the price for Kodak TMAX for the past five years, but I did recently find a roll of expired TMAX 400 in a refrigerator drawer to load into my Minolta X-700. The thirteen years past the expiration date did not seem to significantly affect the results.

Good bye to cataracts |

I'm facing cataract surgery "in the next one to three years" according to my ophthalmologist. Dry eye is the more pressing concern as it is creating intermittent foggy vision. That's interfering with driving, working on my computer, and of course my photography. I hope Margaret heals up perfectly.
The surgery can make an impressive difference. I had mine done a few years ago and saw much improvement. Margaret had both done at the same time and she is back driving again.
I had cataract surgery 10 years ago. It made a dramatic improvement in color quality and clarity. I have macular degeneration now, which cannot be cured but can be slowed.
