We spent four days visiting family and friends in Las Cruces. I managed to fit in a couple of hours in the Organ Mountains and a morning walk in Old Mesilla.
Old Mesilla changes very slowly over the years, so the appearance of the place is largely in synch with my memories. By contrast, Las Cruces has developed at a rapid rate which produces an unsettling mix of familiarity and disorientation.
I was first attracted to the pattern of leaves against the rock wall, but I did also see the dancing lady. I suspect we are both afflicted with Pareidolia.

Some nice shots with the Leica. I love the one of the church.

I love the tree in your first picture. It looks like a dancing lady with possibly a shawl. Nice framing and textures.
