Incredible shots of that bug (a cicada?) and the toad. The focus on the eyes is perfect. Where is this Bosque?
Yes, a Giant Cicada and a Woodhouse's Toad. All shot along the east bank of the Rio Grande about mid-way through Albuquerque. The part I most enjoy is a boggy area that supports acres of Yerba Mansa flowers, along with their sheltering cottonwoods.
