I'm reading Lawrence Durrell's Reflections on a Marine Venus. I think I must have first read it shortly before we went to Greece because the images his words invoke seem so vivid now.
Villa Cleobolus? |
Street of the Knights? |
The pictures were all from my Vito II.

That is the Street of the Knights. I have some Kodachromes from the same area. Rhodos is a wonderful destination off-season.
Thanks for the confirmation of the street name. I did a photo essay about Greece on photonet shortly after we returned, but the text with a lot of the details was deleted during one of the site's revisions. So reading Durrell has been a good way to jog the memories.
