Summer in the Bosque

I took a long walk this morning along the river. It was the first time in quite a while as most of Albuquerque's open spaces have been closed because of drought and fire danger.







My negatives were overly contrasty, not what I expect from Tri-X. Time to start a new bottle of HC-110, I guess.

    The last shot is very good with the alternate leaves that appear to be at "attention" or on guard, the background works nicely here too.

    Beautiful black and white. I like the patchy light in the first one.
