I also don't mind if people take exception to this kind of post as my knowledge on the subject is certainly not complete, and I may come to quite different conclusions at some later time.

One of the big advantages of being a photographer in Albuquerque is the availability of the UNM Fine Arts Library which has what I believe to be one of the great collections of writing about all aspects of photography. A community borrower's card cost just $30 per year and gives me access to a vast amount of information which is just not available on the web. I have a limited appetite for critical writing about photography, but I really like the opportunity to look at the work of many of the great photographers in books that I could not afford to buy. The depth of the historical accounts is also a nice antidote to the superficiality of much of what one finds on line.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00776670666673938282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423901.post-56939032752157756412013-04-11T04:59:52.834-06:002013-04-11T04:59:52.834-06:00I wanted to say that I enjoy posts like these. My lack of comment comes simply because the critical analysis of art and artists is untrod ground for me and I have nothing meaningful to add to the conversation. These posts are interesting and thought-provoking.Jimhttp://blog.jimgrey.netnoreply@blogger.com
