I wasn't close enough to these geese to get good photos, but you get the idea.
I was surprised at how early they had nested.

Canada geese are in abundance everywhere it seems. We have a small pond nearby, for storm water collection, and I see the geese flying towards it in greater numbers this year. I think I even spotted some cormorants. Of course Kingville is also home to the Jack Miner bird sanctuary. Those fuzzy little guys are sure cute!
